The upper floor bath vanity has plenty of storage, with three banks of drawers and recessed mirrored medicine cabinets.

The bath remodel and dormer study addition were part of a limited-scope project along with other minor modifications and new finishes in other parts of the house.
The bath was designed as a shared space to accommodate the family as the children grow up and leave the "nest." The bath was enlarged by a few feet and rearranged to function better. Materials and colors were chosen to evoke a sunny home spa with a relaxed private atmosphere.
The study addition doubles as a guest room by incorporating a fold-out bed. The southeastern corner window captures sunlight and provides a view of Mount Rainier.
