Lots of counter space was created to accommodate multiple cooks.
|
Our clients requested an open plan kitchen with lots of natural light. We opened the entire rear of the house and used large transom windows above the breakfast nook to flood the kitchen with light. The design is sympathetic to this Craftsman era home with cased beams and oversize trim. The second floor was completely re-configured to create two master suites and a large study with an adjacent balcony. The main floor bathroom doubles as a mud room and includes a vintage sink.
