A Pair of Trellises

Both trellises provide an easily identifiable presence on the street and soften the effect of these existing older garages. One garage has a deck on the roof for which the trellis provides shade and a sense of place. The owners enjoy the added deck space that remaining open to allow views of the neighborhood. Ornamental plants have since been added to the trellis and deck. The other trellis is a simple Craftsman style design to relate the garage to the house.
