We use innovative design practices while honoring the past.
The greenest building is the one already built. - Carl Elefante
Our Story
Founded in 1979, in 2018 long term employees — Howard Miller, Steve Campbell, and Ellen Mirro —took over the practice. With a combined experience of almost 100 years, TJP's architects value collaboration, craft, and the latest technologies and practices.
We value meticulous architectural designs that are ecologically, socially, and fiscally responsible. We apply our experienced insight across a wide range of project types, sizes, and budgets.
Expertise in architectural history informs our use of modern, innovative architectural design, building processes, and materials.
We provide guidance throughout the design and building process, from inception to project completion.

Studio TJP is licensed to practice architecture in Washington.
