Riviera Place Remodel
This remodel transformed a house on the shores of Lake Washington from a small, dowdy residence into a gracious, spacious family home equipped for entertaining and comfort, with the main rooms of the house oriented towards the lake.
The original home had little appeal from either the street or from the lake. We added an upper floor with a striking dormer, creating a distinctive composition visible from the water. A generous mudroom helps residents and guests enjoy in-and-out access to the beach and lake. The reconfiguration creates a direct connection from the kitchen and living room to the deck.
