West Seattle Remodel well under way

This project involves digging out a crawl space to expand the basement making space for a family room and in the process fixing a chimney that was settling at a different rate than the rest of the house.
You can find images of an earlier phase of the remodel here.
The new basement will have a nice large window.
The steel supports are temporary and will be removed as the mason fills the gaps and makes a secure connection to the new foundation.
