Union City Addition
We created a small, sensitive addition to a 1938 split-level home designed by Seattle architect William Bain (the first “B” in renowned firm NBBJ). The project added a new bedroom suite on the main floor, a change that will make it easier for the owner to age at home.
The fully accessible bathroom includes a curbless shower, shower seat, grab bars, and laundry facilities. The new library/guest room/office includes full-height windows that look out to the shady, tree-full back yard.
