A beloved mid-century home needed more light, a kitchen that could host, and a primary suite worth retreating to — without losing an inch of what Ralph Anderson got right. One hundred square feet added and thoughtful consideration applied to the whole home.
WHAT THE CLIENT NEEDED
→A little more space.
→ Maintain the intent of the original architect
→A more open main floor layout
→A functional primary suite
→ Extended the existing roofline and added a small dormer
→Matched roof details, updated materials and added custom lighting in the spirit of the period
→Removed masonry chimney
→more space for a shower under the new gable dormer
