The design concept for our own office remodel started with the idea of an open studio that would bring an updated interpretation of mid-century design inside the space. The bookcase wall partitions the conference room and cantina from the studio with a translucent design to allow the penetration of natural light throughout the space. Previously the space had been partitioned into five rooms and a hallway

→ A kitchen that finally captured the water view
→ Contemporary living without erasing the Tudor character
→ Original details preserved and celebrated
→ Every room brought up to the same quality standard
→ Added 3 ft to access views and light; merged butler's pantry, nook, and kitchen
→ Four bathrooms each given a distinct character and material palette
→ Library, master suite, and attic rooms fully renovated
→ Original fireplaces, tile, and period details retained throughout
