The construction of a new family heritage vacation cabin
This novel vacation cabin in Cannon Beach, Oregon has been planned to be passed down from generation to generation. The tower is reminiscent of coastal lighthouses, provides a nearly 300º view, and provides excellent ventilation on hot summer nights. Custom details for storage and seating, such as the benches built in to the front porch railing, and a bottle display shelf circling the main room, create many special places inside this tiny cabin. With only two bedrooms, the main room has a built-in settle that will double as an extra bed when needed, in keeping with the owner’s desire for a small cozy charming vacation cabin.
