POINT ROBERTS
- accessibility, character -
the conversion of a characterless building to a cozy cottage
Our clients desired to create a full-time residence in Point Roberts, Washington, from an existing small undistinguished cabin. We added the porch, dormer, and brackets to bring the scale down and create a more welcoming atmosphere. Craftsman details were added inside and out, creating a welcoming, elegant, yet relaxed residence.
An addition to the main floor included a master bedroom, dining room, and a trellissed patio. The dining room is open to the living room, and has cathedral ceilings, a built-in hutch, and french doors with transom lights out to the patio.
