Our colleague Ellen, principal and director of our historic resources services, has contributed more than two dozen articles for the newly-launched Archipedia. A project of the Society of Architectural Historians, Archipedia is a collaborative, peer-reviewed online encyclopedia dedicated to architecture and the built environment of the United States.
Ellen’s contributions include much of Seattle Center (including the Space Needle!), and more than a dozen buildings and sites on the University of Washington Campus. Many of these she wrote in collaboration with several other local architectural historians: Tom Veith, Susan Boyle of BOLA Architecture + Planning, and Michael Sullivan of Artifacts Historic Preservation.
