Last week Howard had the chance to visit a home that we designed in 2002. This Richmond Beach house was completed in 2003, with classic detailing reminiscent of old Cape Cod homes. The original clients no longer own the house, but Howard met the new family, who has lived here for the past two years. It was a treat to see it again… it’s always a pleasure to get to revisit a former project and to know that the residents are happy living there.
The house is reminiscent of New England Shingle-style homes.
With a trellised patio, balcony and lookout, all that is missing is some covered patio space.
The main entry is on the uphill side of the home.
The dappled light brings out the form of the house.
