While we continue working from home, we’re revisiting the progress on some of our projects from the previous several months. (In other words, no social-distancing rules were broken in the taking of these photographs!)
In February, framing continued on this complex remodel and addition project near Interlaken Park. In order to retain 50% of the exterior structure, the old floors are being removed a section at a time to make way for the new, higher floors. Notice the half-stair retained temporarily for ease of access, and the toilet, which is still functional, if not very private…..
As builders continue to frame the remodel, portions of the old house are removed to make way for the new.
Here we look down where the old floors have been removed. The elevator will be located in a portion of this opening.
