Today we’re checking in on the Cedar Park project, a remodel that includes creating an open-plan great room on the main floor and taking advantage of the Lake Washington view. With the framing completed, the final form of the space is finally starting to be visible. Installation of the plumbing, electrical, and heating systems is wrapping up, with insulation and wall board coming in the near future.
The transom windows above the folding doors add substantial natural light to the living room.
The steel column has been connected to all the floor structure needing support, so the last temporary support can be removed.
The seating area has tall windows and is open to the living room and kitchen.
